Pickawall’s unique wallpaper is opaque and removes the need to prep your walls prior to installation. Most importantly, Pickawall wallpaper is printed using child safe inks which are odourless, non-toxic and safe for your family & environment.

Pickawall ranges from $85 per square metre. Inclusive of GST (where applicable). Our Pickafloor stock is waterproof and is mainly for floor application but can also be used as splash backs or in wet areas on the walls, it is a more aggressive adhesion as it is intended for floor application on all smooth floor surfaces, pricing is from $79 per square metre. Our minimum order through the website is 1 square metres. Our Decals are custom sizes online, but anything is possible, so if your request is smaller or more specialised, please contact us at sales@pickawall.com

Pickawall provides the largest collection of professional library images for you to choose from or upload your own image without any additional charges. We offer a ‘Live Pricing*’ feature on your custom sizing, which means we customise your pricing to suit your order. No wastage & No surprises.

The prices of products, delivery and other charges shown are in Australian dollars ($AUD), or American dollars ($USD), or British Pound Sterling (£GBP) or Euro (€EUR) based on your geographical location and includes GST, where GST is applicable at check-out. Pickawall is a true web to print business. As soon as your order has been completed your wallpaper is ready for printing. Our Melbourne team work 5 days a week and most orders will be printed and shipped within 10-12 business days!

Express printing is available for those last minute orders, this is a 7 day process, print and delivered  for an extra charge of $100, you can select this option at checkout.

Note: If you have requested a design brief with text or logo’s etc, or there are quality issues with your image, we will be in touch and this may add an extra day or two to your delivery time.

We have the World’s biggest image libraries as our partners and offer you the largest online collection of professional library images & designs from which to choose. We also give you the option to use your own unique design or photo using our easy ‘Upload Your Own Image’ function. Our studio team can also edit images or help you create you perfect image for a minimal studio fee*.

*This is based on a minimum charge of $120 for 1 hour of studio time, ($60 per 30 mins from there on)

Your Pickawall is printed using the latest in safe ink technology.  Our special latex printer uses water based inks that are odourless and non-toxic. Not only is our material safe for your child it’s safe for the environment too.  Pickawall is BPA and PVC free.

No! Our latex inks are odourless. They’re kid safe & non-toxic. No nasty ink smells.

Our wallpaper has been exclusively manufactured for Pickawall and has a lovely canvas-like texture. Our wallpaper is a woven polyester fabric, which allows the wallpaper to breathe (so air bubbles don’t get trapped under the wallpaper as it is an air-release product). Not only that, Pickawall’s removable* wallpaper is opaque, can be spot cleaned & durable, it will NOT rip or tear. It can be easily removed and reinstalled if necessary with no residue left on smooth surfaces and no damage to the wallpaper.

Our wallpaper is also fire retardant for commercial installations and is available on request by emailing sales@pickawall.com

*Pickawall is removable and re-positionable on the correct wall surface, if the wall paint is teflon paint, flakey paint, has not been prepped correctly there is a risk paint may be removed when pulled off, the best way to test this is with our free sample pack. If the wall is not prepped correctly there is an increased risk of bubbles occurring where the wall surface is not smooth. These can generally be removed with re-application or releasing the trapped air but may not be perfect if the wall has imperfections.

Our minimum order is to the value of 1 square metre, but we can print to any size.  Our customised wall sizing feature allows you to enter the exact dimensions of your wall.

Large wall sizes are limited to a maximum of 30sqm to protect the integrity of the image quality. If you have a larger wallpaper order please upload your image to us at sales@pickawall.com and we will customise your order.

All orders are divided into panel widths for easy installation, unless ordered as a poster sizing and the request is for 1 x piece. All wallpapers are printed with an extra 40mm bleed added to the bottom and 20mm to the right hand side as no wall is perfectly square so this allows for any variances across the width.

Generally the overall width of the wall is split evenly into panels, approximately 650-700mm widths, our only stock restriction is 1350mm wide in one piece (due to the width of our stock rolls) whichever orientation is more appropriate for 1 x panel. The widest we recommend to print, without a professional install is generally 1000mm (1 metre) wide, you will need a second person to assist with this width.

If your order is a poster size (can be printed in one panel; Under 1450mm Wide in either orientation) we print to the exact size unless requested. If you require bleed on a poster order please add this to the notes of your order.

Our wallpaper is installed with 10mm overlaps which is clear to line up with 3 x indicator marks at the top, centre and bottom of the print as a guide.

Pickawall also offers a 2 year guarantee against fading and adhesion issues*, and a 5 year life span, however we have been going since 2012 and have our first walls still standing!

Refunds are only issued if the wallpaper is returned to us within 30 Days and there is a printing, manufacturing issue which can not be resolved. Refunds will only be considered if there is no forcible resolution within 30 days of purchase. Please note if the wall surface is not suitable (please see T&C’s) this is not grounds for a refund.

Our imagery is the highest resolution possible from our library partners or designed in house as illustrator file, or hi-res supplied artworks from artists or photographers. We print to a minimum of 100PPI at final size to ensure the best quality. Most of our patterns are vector files and can be scaled to any size with no quality issue. Please note the thumbnails online are a representation of a wall design and can not be used to compare quality to final print. If you are unhappy with your print quality on arrival if it is not what you expected due to being enlarged, we are happy to discuss and reconfirm the print process.

As all wallpapers are custom made if a change of mind or query on quality once clarified is still resulting in you not being happy with the final product we will discuss each case further but please note this is not grounds for a reprint or refund as we do print highest quality images available.

Please note the lifespan of our adhesive is once it is installed on the wall, or smooth surface, Pickawall can not be left sitting in the box once we have printed on it for more than 3 months before installation. The adhesive qualities activate correctly once the wallpaper is applied to the wall. If you leave your wallpaper sitting in a box longer than 3 months there is no guarantees it will apply to the wall. Once it is applied it will last as long as you want. A great example is our Christmas tree decals that we have in the office and have had for the last 6 years and this goes back on the backing sheet and is reused each year with no issues.

Refunds are also not valid for having the incorrect wall surface or paint (teflon or suede effects, satin finish) or a poorly prepped wall. Pickawall unfortunately does not apply to these types of paint or porous surfaces. You can look at putting MDF or a sealant on undercoat of the correct paint or sanding back an effects paint if an error has been made.

If you require a panel reprint due to an install issue due to user error we can not guarantee the colour will match 100% as we change inks daily and perform maintenance and can only do a physical match. This is discussed case by case.

*Adhesion issues: this is based on our professional installers completing the works, and confirmation that the wall surface or floor surface has been correctly prepared and is not damaged in any way or is not rough prior to installation, and it is an issue with our products adhesive qualities and not being impacted by other factors.

We encourage you to design your own wallpaper by uploading your personal high resolution images and designs.

Simply click the Upload Your Own Image button and follow the prompts. The largest file size and resolution is required for printing, we will advise if there are quality issues. If the file is very large you can use our FTP service or send to directly to us through a dropbox link, our FTP or email.

Copyright Notice: You agree when uploading your ‘Own Image’ that under Pickawall’s Terms & Conditions you agree to have copyright (ownership) or enhanced image licence rights over that image and take responsibility for its use. Pickawall reserves the right to cancel and refund any order that it feels is in breach of these conditions without notice.

You can’t put a round peg in a square hole and you can’t turn a portrait image into a panoramic, so sometimes you will need to sacrifice some of the image or possibly choose another image that works better for the size of your wall.

We have developed specialty software that allows you to fully customise your Pickawall to suit your wall size and environment. Use our Create Art screen to scale or rotate your image within your nominated wall size.

The ‘Pickawall’ watermark has been placed on all images on our website to protect our photographers and is removed for printing.

Pickawall Pty Ltd acknowledges and respects copyright and royalty payments are made on all image sales in our image library.

If you are using older versions of Internet Explorer (before version 9.0), you will experience problems loading images into the ‘Create Art’ screen. Pickawall uses the latest HTML 5 platform and highly recommends you use web browsers such as Chrome or Mozilla Firefox to have a great user experience.

Your web browser settings must also have cookies ‘enabled’ to use our functionality to create your wallpaper mural. Cookies allow us to improve the function of customising your Pickawall. We also use cookies for fraud prevention.

No! Your uploaded images are not shown on our website or shared with any 3rd party.

Large format printing requires high-resolution images. Our website will warn you with a ‘Low Resolution’ message should the image quality not reproduce to the size of your wall. Our service team will also check your order prior to print and will contact you should the print quality not meet our standards.

Note: If our system won’t upload your image, it’s because the resolution is below our 1MB minimum size requirement. If you file size is under 10MB it may still not be suitable, there are a number of factors involved in increasing an image, especially a photo to a wall size, if you have any questions please email studio@pickawall.com. We will contact you if you have placed a custom order if any concerns.

Mobile Phone Photos:

This is very dependant on your smart phone. Technology on phones is increasing by the day, so best to email through your photos if you would like us to check the quality at your wall size.

YES! All orders are custom printed made to order. For all of our patterns you can choose the scale, for example you can tell us how large you would like a flower to be or a geometric pattern like a Herringbone pattern how large you would like to pattern tile to be. We will generate a PDF of the artwork for your approval prior to printing. If you have placed an order for a pattern or a wooden/brick texture without a note about your required scale, we will contact you prior to production.

Please note for wooden designs you can specify the width of the patterns on most wood graphics, and with bricks and stones we usually print these at as close to realistic size as possible, again we will contact you to confirm with a PDF.

We can also change colours upon request and match these to an online Pantone colour or an online paint swatch or physical swatch if mailed to us

We recommend using one of the many photo editing software packages on your PC or Mac (Adobe Photoshop etc). Once you have created your collage artwork, simply click the ‘Upload Image’ function. Remember to use high-resolution images, especially for the larger size orders.

Our studio can design this for you for a charge. The pricing starts from $120 for first hour, and $60 per 30 mins after that. We quote for collages based on wall size and number of images and complexity of design. We do require a full brief, the more detail the quicker we can produce your unique collage.

We will provide a quote and supply you with a PDF proof prior to print.

The Pickawall website offers functionality that allows you to edit any image to fit your wall perfectly. You can ‘Crop’, ‘Rotate’ and change your image to ‘Black & White’ before you place an order.

Our wallpaper will adhere to all smooth surfaces including ceilings (that is a non Teflon based paint or Textured paint effect) Please take care when installing wallpaper in areas where ladders are required.

Simply install behind glass if you are building or renovating your kitchen splashback as Pickawall will stain if food or oil regularly splash, water will dry and it can be spot cleaned carefully (no guarentees on colour removing as we do use water based inks on our fabric stock)

If you are planning to install Pickawall in your bathroom, this is suitable for all walls except the wall where the taps are located or within the shower area. Please email sales@pickawall.com to confirm if you have further queries.

Pickawall will withstand dramatic temperature variations without affecting its integrity. When repositioning a panel we recommend you peel off the wallpaper slowly to avoid unnecessary stress on the substrate or over stretching.

Yes we ship world wide! The cost of freight will automatically be calculated for you and highlighted at checkout. We use either Australia Post, TNT, DHL, UPS and FEDEX freight services, Star Track and Royale Couriers.

Your consignment description is marked ‘Large Format Photo’ and is unlikely to attract any Custom, Import & Brokerage Fees in most countries. However Pickawall has no control over country import charges and, in the unlikely event that fees or duties are imposed on your order, the payment of these remains the responsibility of the customer.

This is a very, very rare event and unfortunately outside of Pickawall’s control. If this occurred to you today then it’s probably not the best day to buy a lotto ticket. If the image is no longer available this is because the owner of that particular image has sold the exclusive rights to a 3rd party after we uploaded it to our website, therefore overriding our agreement to use that image. If you can’t find an alternative image you will receive a full refund without delay.

Pickawall was developed as a super easy DIY product. Installation is a simple peel on, peel off. Our wallpaper is also very forgiving so if you make a mistake you can reposition and start over without damaging your wallpaper. We recommend to use your hand, firming pressing onto the wall surface, don’t be afraid to apply a lot of pressure to allow Pickawall to settle onto the wall. Pickawall adheres directly onto all smooth, clean surfaces*

Pickadecal is made from our same premium quality fabric wallpaper stock and is the same installation as above. We recommend to keep the backing sheets for both walls and decals if you wish to remove and reuse, or move house or walls wish.

Pickafloor is also a very easy DIY peel and stick application onto any smooth undamaged floor surface*

*Please note Pickafloor can adhere to any smooth surface but as we say for walls, we do not know how a floor was originally prepped and it cared for, and varnished/finished, so we can not take responsibility for any damage that could occur on removal if the floor was previously damaged, had any flaking sections or scratches or sections of varnish coming away/ or that has had other adhesive stocks applied (same as our Pickawall guidelines) we recommend testing a section before hand to ensure the varnish (mainly for wooden floors and tiles/ sealed floors) be tested prior to installation and tested. Our stock fact sheets state that our adhesive is a true removable stock with no residue* (based on an intact good quality floor base). Pickawall will not be liable for any damages caused to a floor or wall surface which is not in correct condition for a self-adhesive product. Please see our T&C’s for more information.

*We recommend to install your Pickawall within 3 months of purchase as we can not guarantee the adhesion quality pending on storage.

*Pickawall DOES NOT adhere to porous surfaces,( Textured wallpaper, rendered walls, concrete or brick) Teflon paints or Wash & Wear paints or Textured effects Paints (such as Suede effects) (Which contain similar properties). – nothing adheres to Teflon unfortunately! – An easy test is to put bluetac and stick a poster on the wall or apply sticky tape, also using our free samples. It will start to un-peel from the wall almost immediately

*Pickawall can only apply over the top of a smooth finish vinyl glossy wallpaper, it will go over traditional Paper Wallpaper BUT you are sticking a self-adhesive product onto paper, like sticky-tape on paper and it is likely to damage the paper and rip this off the wall if you re-position the Pickawall. We do not recommend applying Pickawall directly onto a traditional wallpaper if you do not wish for it to be damaged, and recommend testing our samples and also perhaps applying Viponds paint (a clear sealant) before you would apply.

*If the wall has not been prepped correctly eg. does not have an undercoat or paint is peeling or flaking, rough in sections due to poor paint finish, Pickawall may pull off the paint

Minimal wall preparation is required/recommended: the smooth surface needs to be cleaned, little to no dust (if it is a building site please ensure walls are wiped clean as best possible). Freshly painted walls need to be left to settle for a recommended 10 days before applying Pickawall to ensure the paint has settled into the wall and no paint damage will occur. Teflon coated painted walls will need to be repainted before Pickawall can be applied. Pickawall does not adhere to Teflon paint or Wash & Wear paints that contain similar properties.

If the wall surface is not perfectly smooth the imperfections will effect the adhesion of our wallpaper stock and may cause aeration and small imperfections and bubbling as the surface is not perfectly flush. No wall is, but the beauty of Pickawall is it does breath and the bubbles should* settle in time.

*Plaster over a brick wall is classified as a rendered brick wall. We would need to supply a larger panel piece to test this

REMOVAL:

We recommend to keep the backing sheets if you are renting or are likely to move your walls. If you do not you can use baking paper as this is purely a dust protector.

Roll each panel up from the bottom loosely and lightly wrap with the backing sheet applied to cover as much of the adhesive as possible.

Walls can easily move from one to another and just be trimmed to the new size or centred on the new larger wall.

Pickawall is printed with 10mm excess on the right hand side of each panel. We have small indicator marks at the top, centre and bottom of the prints which allow you to over lap the following panel and line up the design easily.

It is essential to follow the overlap instructions to ensure that the installation is successful, even a slight misalignment can result in a significant visual discrepancy between panels. In some cases, it can cause the image to appear distorted or stretched.

Self-adhesive wallpapers are easy to install and remove, they can contract slightly over time, especially in humid environments. Removing the overlap can cause the wallpaper to shrink, and the seam between panels may become visible after installation, this is why we do not recommend a butt join.

The overlap is a small but important detail that ensures a seamless and professional-looking installation that will last for years. Please see our HOW TO videos for installation and removal.

We do highlight the fact Pickawall is a DIY installation product and a professional is certainly not required!

Pickawall applies to any smooth surface and any wall that is not has a non-teflon based paint on it.

Pickawall DOES NOT adhere to porous surfaces (rendered walls, concrete or brick), Teflon paints or Wash & Wear paints (Which contain similar properties), Suede effects, satin finish paints all contact Teflon and nothing adheres to Teflon unfortunately!

The smoother the surface the better the finished application of the wallpaper. If the wall is not perfectly smooth this may cause adhesion issues with our self-adhesive fabric stock.

If you are unsure about your wall or surface type, please email our sales team at sales@pickawall.com for guidance.

Please ensure you slowly peel back the wallpaper from the wall, as ripping may cause brittle or freshly painted walls to flake.

If you have recently painted your wall please ensure you give it 10 days minimum to cure before applying your wallpaper.

Our special wallpaper can be removed and re-applied to your walls over and over again. The adhesive properties of our wallpaper remain constant and offer continued easy installation and removal.

We recommend keeping the original packaging that your wallpaper comes attached to for transportation or storage at a later date.

This depends on the size of your wall.

Our drop panels generally run at approximately 700mm widths but will be adjusted to ensure you receive equal sized panels.

Your Pickawall order will arrive with an image proof of your customised wallpaper showing exactly how your wallpaper panels have been printed, with each wallpaper panel numbered for your convenience.

Pickawall’s unique removable substrate is made from a fabric material. This allows the wallpaper to breathe and bubbles will simply disappear by rubbing your hand over the affected area. In the event a bubble returns, simply lift the wallpaper panel off the wall and allow to resettle, smoothing it down. The wallpaper will settle if the wall behind is smooth, if it is rough it may need to be sanded or re-painted prior to install.

You can easily protect your wallpaper by simply placing it back on the original backing paper and evenly rolling up your images backwards without creasing. Re-install to its new destination as soon as possible, as we cannot guarantee the adhesion will not deteriorate quickly when not applied directly to a wall.
